USA EB-5
The USA EB-5 Investor Program is an investment-based initiative designed for foreign nationals seeking permanent residency in the United States through investment. Participants can invest approximately $1 million in a new commercial enterprise located in a targeted employment area, in exchange for a green card.
One of the program's primary advantages is its expedited path to permanent residency. Eligible investors typically receive a conditional green card within 18-24 months of investment, and can apply for permanent residency after two years. Moreover, the program allows investors to include their immediate family members, such as spouses and unmarried children under 21, in their application.
The USA EB-5 Investor Program has proven beneficial for the US economy by generating substantial job creation and stimulating economic growth in designated regional centers nationwide. USA EB-5 Investor Requirements:
Investors in Targeted Employment Areas (TEA) must commit $800,000, while non-TEA investors are required to invest $1.05 million (financing options are not permitted). The investment must originate from a legitimate source, supported by evidence of the lawful trail of funds.
Benefits:
Upon arrival in the US following visa approval, investors and their families enjoy nearly identical privileges as US residents or citizens. This includes international visa-free travel mobility once US citizenship is attained.
Additional Requirements:
There is no minimum net worth requirement for investors, and therefore, no obligation to disclose other assets. To maintain permanent residency, applicants must demonstrate a genuine intent to settle permanently in the US.
Path to Citizenship:
Investors become eligible to apply for US citizenship after residing physically in the US for at least 2.5 years out of a 5-year period, with a minimum presence of 6 months in each of those years.
Eligible Family Members:
Family members eligible for inclusion are spouses and children under the age of 21.
